1 killed as jeep rams karaoke bar in Benguet

CANDON CITY, Philippines - A bystander died while four others were injured after a jeep hit a karaoke and billiard bar in Sablan, Benguet Sunday afternoon. Killed in the incident was Ernalyn Rulloda, 22, of Aringay, La Union. Police said that she was one of those pinned by the jeep driven by Dulce Sagandoy, 33, a resident of Baguio, when it rammed into the karaoke bar. Bystanders injured were identified as Glenda Mapili, 16, also of Aringay; and Jobert Palali, Rudy Gabil and Jaber Rimando, all Sablan residents while those injured in the jeep were Jocelyn Sagandoy, 29 and Alfreten Burio, 30, both neighbors of Sagandoy in Baguio; and Arsenio Anasioco, 36, of Sablan. All the injured were brought to the Baguio General Hospital. Police detained Sagandoy was at the Sablan jail. The jeep was going up to Baguio when it rammed the karaoke store. - GMANews.TV
