Barangay kagawad shot dead in La Union

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines - A barangay kagawad in Balaoan, La Union was shot dead Wednesday night by unidentified men after attending a birthday party. Police Supt. Pedro Ubaldo, Jr, deputy provincial director, identified the kagawad as Renato Bumadre, 44, married and kagawad of Baracbac Oeste. Bumadre reportedly attended the birthday party of his live-in partner, Arcela Dimalanta, and was about to go home when he was repeatedly shot by an unidentified man. - GMANews.TV
