Japanese national shot dead in Nueva Ecija

MANILA, Philippines - Police are now looking for two motorcycle-riding men who shot dead a Japanese national in Cabanatuan City in Nueva Ecija province Friday. A report by radio dzBB's Benjie Liwanag Jr identified the victim as one Akio Ohara. Liwanag cited Nueva Ecija provincial police director Senior Superintendent Ricardo Marquez as the source of his information. Sketchy initial reports indicated the incident took place in Valdefuente village in Cabanatuan City. Ohara was said to be staying in Matatalaib village in Tarlac City, the report said.
