11 South Cotabato jail guards relieved

KORONADAL CITY, Philippines — Eleven jail guards were relieved and the warden was asked to take a leave of absence after detainees at the provincial jail complained of abuse. "I’ve assigned a new set of guards pending an investigation into the complaints of the inmates," said South Cotabato Gov. Daisy P. Avance Fuentes, Friday.
