Jeepney falls off ravine in Cebu, killing 2, injuring 15 passengers

MANILA, Philippines – A jeepney fell off a ravine in Naga City in Cebu province on Tuesday, killing two women passengers and injuring 15 others. The two women were not immediatelyl identified, and the injured were taken to a nearby hospital, according a radio report. The jeepney left Toledo City and was traveling to travel to neighboring San Fernando City when the accident happened. According to police, the jeepney lost its brakes and plummeted down a ravine in Barangay Pairan in Naga City.
