Ex-vice mayor of Cabiao gunned down - report

MANILA, Philippines - An unidentified gunman shot dead a former vice mayor of Cabiao town in Nueva Ecija province Thursday afternoon, a radio report said. Radio dzRH cited initial information identifying the victim as former Cabiao vice mayor Bonifacio Clemente, who was shot dead at 1 p.m. The report said the incident occurred at Purok 1, San Fernando village along the Cabiao national highway, where Clemente was having a flat tire of his Starex van replaced.
