MILF: Boy killed, sis injured in AFP assault in Maguindanao

MANILA, Philippines - A nine-year-old boy was killed while his eight-year-old sister was wounded in night-long shelling by government forces in Maguindanao, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front claimed Saturday. In an article on its website early Saturday, the MILF said the incident occurred in Datu Saudi Ampatuan in Maguindanao and Sambulawan in Midsayap. "This is state terrorism," the MILF quoted a school teacher related to the children as saying. MILF, in its article, identified the dead as Homidi Abdurrahman. Seriously injured was Samera Abdurrahman. The MILF said the two villages are adjacent to each other, separated only by the Rio Grande de Mindanao.
