Report: 60 hurt in LPG blast in Cavite


MANILA, Philippines - Some 60 persons were reported injured after a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tank exploded at the industrial estate at Bangkal village in Carmona town in Cavite Saturday morning., radio reports said. A report on Bombo Radyo quoted police Chief Inspector Danilo Cabaluna as saying the explosion occurred at an LPG station where the hose disconnected from the tank's outlet valve. Cabaluna said most of the victims suffered relatively minor injuries and have been discharged from hospital. Many of the injured were residents living at the back of the LPG station, who were attracted by the ereportedly explosion. - GMANews.TV
