Report: 6 hurt in pillbox explosion

MANILA, Philippines — At least six people were injured in a pillbox explosion at a disco bar in Cagayan de Oro City before dawn Saturday, a radio report said. Bombo Radyo cited initial reports identifying the injured as Rhodora and Evelyn Berdeda, Wilmer Catalan, Ryan Catalan, Zyna Catalan and Alde Raula. The report quoted Loreto Tadle, a bouncer of Club Mojo, as saying four unidentified persons threw the pillbox following a commotion outside the establishment. PO3 Paul Villabito of the police Explosive and Ordnance Division (EOD) said the explosion did not cause much damage. GMANews.TV
