3 ‘salvage’ victims dumped in Isabela province
MANILA, Philippines - Police in Isabela province remain baffled over the motive in the summary execution of three youths whose bodies were dumped in Santiago City Tuesday night. Radio dzRH reported late Thursday that police are verifying information that the three were members of the Igorot Gang, a group allegedly notorious for trouble making. As of Thursday, the report said relatives had identified the victims as Jay-Jun la Torre, 18; RJ Domogan, 19; and Richard Manalili, 21. Initial investigation showed the bodies were dumped Tuesday night in Purok 1, Baluarte village in Santiago City. The bodies bore stab and gunshot wounds in the head, chest and mouth. Their mouths, feet, and hands were sealed with masking tape. Police said their investigation also showed the three left Ramon, Isabela at noon last Monday and were headed for Santiago City on a Suzuki motorcycle.
