Australian found dead in his house in Iloilo

MANILA, Philippines - An Australian corn trader was found dead inside his house in Ajuy town in Iloilo province, even as police suspect foul play in his death. Radio dzRH reported Tuesday afternoon that Werner Halls, described as in his 50s, was found inside his house in Pili village at midnight Monday. Halls' wife called police after discovering his lifeless body inside their house. Investigators suspect foul play in the death of Halls after seeing some wounds on his body. However, Ajuy police director Chief Inspector Ariel Artillero declined to give further details as the investigation is still ongoing. - GMANews.TV
