Report: Fire razes 21 houses in Diwalwal mining area

MANILA, Philippines - Some P6.9 million in property went up in smoke after a fire razed 21 houses in the mining area in Mount Diwalwal in Monkayo town in Compostela Valley province, a radio report said Thursday. Radio dzXL reported that no one was reported injured in the fire, which residents said started when some children were playing with fire.
