Businesswoman, granddaughter found dead inside Bulacan home


(Updated 11:55 a.m.) MANILA, Philippines - Police on Thursday morning discovered the bodies of a 67-year-old businesswoman and her granddaughter who were killed inside their home in Bulacan province. A radio report said investigators found businesswoman Cristina de Jesus' body riddled with stab wounds inside the store room of her liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) shop beside their house in Brgy. (village) Taliptip in Bulacan town. Meanwhile, De Jesus’s 19-year-old daughter, Carla Bernabe, was also found dead at the second floor of their house. The teenager’s body sustained a number of stab wounds, bruises and cuts, the report said.
