Easterly wave to bring rains to Bicol, Visayas

MANILA, Philippines - An easterly wave is expected to bring rains to the Bicol region and Eastern Visayas, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said. "Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers. The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers," Pagasa said in its 5 p.m. bulletin. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast and east will prevail over northern and eastern Luzon with moderate to rough seas, it also said.
