Cebu Pacific suspending Catarman flights due to safety issues

MANILA, Philippines — Airline company Cebu Pacific on Tuesday said it is suspending its Manila-Catarman flights “due to unresolved airport safety issues," a report said. The radio report quoted Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing and distribution Candice Iyog as saying that the suspension would start on May 9. Iyog said since the service to Northern Samar's capital town started last February there have been several “runway incursions," which up to now the government has failed to resolve.
