Body of last of 5 missing boys in Cavite creek found
The last of five missing boys swept away by strong water currents in a Cavite creek was finally recovered Wednesday, a GMA Flash Report said. Rescuers from the Philippine Navy and Marines found the body of 11-year-old Kent Bryant Revilla Wednesday morning, some six kilometers from where they were hit by a water surge in the Pasong Buwaya creek on Tuesday. Revilla was catching crabs with his two brothers and eight other friends along the creek in Barangay Paliparan, Dasmariňas town, when tragedy struck. Though the skies were clear, villagers recounted how the water level in the creek suddenly rose Monday afternoon. Six of the boys were rescued, but five were washed away. Their bodies were fished out of the creek on Tuesday. Rescuers said the body of the last victim was revealed when the water subsided Wednesday. Revillaâs body suffered bruises, cuts, and a fractured head.
