3 siblings stabbed dead in Laguna province

While their parents were away, three siblings were stabbed to death inside their house in Laguna province Thursday night. Radio dzXL cited initial reports reaching Laguna police chief Senior Superintendent Manolito Labador identifying the three as Cristina Rafael, 14; and brothers Jason, 12, and Jerome, 9. The bodies of the three were discovered before dawn Friday in their house in San Ildefonso village in Alaminos town. Initial police investigation showed the victims were asleep without their parents when the attack happened. The victims sustained multiple stab wounds. Police cited testimonies from neighbors showing the victims' parents were at a neighbor's house for a videoke session Thursday night. SPO3 Ronaldo Concio of the Laguna police said over radio dzBB that the parents of the victims were farmers.
