NPA ambush wounds police official in Davao del Sur

A police official in Davao del Sur province was wounded after being ambushed by communist New People's Army rebels Tuesday morning. Radio dzXL reported Sta. Cruz town police director Inspector Rodrigo Tajos was injured when the NPAs attacked his convoy at 10 a.m. Davao del Sur police said the police team was returning to headquarters after investigating an alleged harassment incident of a paramilitary detachment in Sibulan village.
