Report: 1 missing, 4 hurt in Davao construction accident

At least four construction workers were hurt, while one remained missing after an accident at their work site in Davao City Saturday morning. Government-run dzRB radio reported a part of the building the laborers were working on collapsed in Bajada district in Davao City. One of the injured was initially identified as Marciano Pulbo of Toril district. A second reportedly sustained injuries in several parts of the body. The missing worker was initially identified as Crispin Basilio. The report said the rescued workers were brought to the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC). An initial investigation showed the workers were bringing cement to the fourth floor of the building when part of the structure collapsed. — LBG, GMANews.TV
