Phivolcs: Magnitude-2.8 quake rocks Capiz
A magnitude-2.9 quake rocked Capiz province in Western Visayas on Monday morning, but state seismologists said no damage or casualty was reported. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Philvolcs) said the quake was recorded at 7:45 a.m., with the epicenter at 21 km southeast of Roxas City. The Philvolcs bulletin said the quake was tectonic and was felt at Intensity II in Ivisan, Capiz. However, Phivolcs said no aftershock was expected from Monday's quake. â VVP, GMANews.TV
