Magnitude-4.5 quake hits General Santos area in Mindanao
A magnitude-4.5 quake jolted the General Santos City area in Mindanao Sunday morning, but there was no initial report of damage or casualty. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake was tectonic in origin and was recorded at 8:06 a.m. In its bulletin, it said the epicenter was 57 km southwest of General Santos City. Phivolcs did not immediately cite specific areas where the quake was felt. It said no damage or aftershock was expected from the quake. — LBG, GMA News
