NDRRMC: 14 hurt in Pangasinan bus accident

Fourteen people were hurt after a bus they were riding went out of control in Pangasinan province Thursday afternoon, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said Friday (NDRRMC).

The incident involved a "Mhelben" passenger bus (AVT-777), the NDRRMC said. It added the bus went out of control due to a "mechanical defect."

In a report posted on its website Friday evening, the NDRRMC said the incident occurred at 1:20 p.m. Thursday at the zigzag road of Poblacion village in Sual town.
