Classes still suspended in some schools in Rizal province, Valenzuela City

Classes remain suspended Thursday in some schools in Rizal province and Valenzuela City in northern Metro Manila, a day after heavy rain and floods swamped parts of Luzon.

 

In Rizal, classes were suspended in the preschool and elementary levels in private and public schools in Taytay town, radio dzBB reported.

 

Valenzuela City officials said classes will remain suspended at Pio Valenzuela Elementary School.

 

"Classes are suspended in Pio Valenzuela Elementary School (on) October 4, Thursday," the Valenzuela City government said on its Facebook and Twitter accounts.

 

Valenzuela City is one of the flood-prone areas in Metro Manila. It is also one of the areas affected by the high tide. — ELR, GMA News
