Dengue outbreak in Laguna village kills 3
Three people died while 15 others were hospitalized following a dengue outbreak in Barangay (village) San Antonio, San Pedro, Laguna, officials said Sunday. The three fatalities suffered high fever last week and died a few days later, officials said. They were all residents of Camella Woodhills subdivision. Officials declined to give the names of the fatalities. Health officials said 15 other victims were brought to a hospital in Muntinlupa City. Dr. Alsaneo Lagos, Laguna provincial health officer, confirmed the dengue outbreak in the area and said a team of health officials will investigate the incident. He said health teams have started fogging the area and distributed larvaecide to kill deadly mosquitoes that cause the disease. - GMANews.TV
