Robbers target 2 Cavite remittance centers
Robbers targeted two remittance centers in Cavite province Tuesday, pulling of the heists in mere minutes and fleeing aboard motorcycles. The first heist was carried out 10 a.m. at Molino village in Bacoor with the robbers victimizing a Western Union branch, radio dzBB reported early Wednesday. Police cited CCTV footage indicating six men entered the establishment after beating up and disarming the security guard. One of the men took the money from the counter, while another served as lookout. The men fled on three motorcycles without license plates. The second heist occurred at the LBC branch in Bacoor, where two men entered and poked firearms at the staff while a third took the money. A separate report on "Saksi" said police arrested two suspects in the second heist. The report did not immediately identify the two arrested suspects. Police are also looking into the possibility that the two heists were the work of a single group - the Ozamiz Robbery Gang. — DVM, GMA News
