NDRRMC: 1 killed in bus-truck accident in Sorsogon province

A bus driver was killed while an undetermined number of people were injured after a bus hit a dump truck in Castila town in Sorsogon province before dawn Friday.

 

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said the incident occurred at 3:24 a.m. at Maharlika Highway in Barangay San Isidro.

 

It said the incident involved an Elavil passenger bus (TXY-891) and a dump truck (EBD-278).

 

The NDRRMC said the bus was headed for Rawis in Catubig, Northern Samar when it hit the dump truck parked along the side of the road.  — ELR, GMA News
