3 die as two trucks collide in Bulacan

At least three people were killed while one was injured after a dump truck and a bulk carrier collided in Norzagaray town in Bulacan Wednesday.

 

The incident occurred at the access road at Sitio Sapang Kawayan in Barangay Matictic, radio dzBB's Allan Gatus reported.

 

Norzagaray police head Superintendent Reginald Francisco cited initial reports identifying the fatalities as Christian Legazpi, a certain Solis, and Rio delos Santos.

 

Legazpi was the driver of the dump truck while Solis was his helper. Delos Santos was the driver of the bulk carrier.

 

Injured was delos Santos' helper initially identified as Michael.

 

Both Legazpi and delos Santos were killed on the spot. Solis was taken to a nearby hospital but died while undergoing treatment, the report said.
