DOTC: 3 flights diverted to Clark due to bad weather


At least three Manila-bound flights, one of them an international flight, were diverted to Pampanga Monday evening due to bad weather conditions in Metro Manila.

The Department of Transportation and Communications said on its Twitter account that the following flights were diverted to Clark Airport in Pampanga:

- 5J-392 (Cebu Pacific): Cagayan de Oro to Manila
- 5J-800 (Cebu Pacific): Singapore to Manila
- 2P-526 (PAL Express): Cagayan de Oro to Manila

Heavy rain fell on Metro Manila Monday afternoon, causing floods in several parts of the metropolis.

Many thoroughfares briefly became impassable, although the floods started to subside past 7 p.m. — BM, GMA News
