Cabuyao, Laguna without electricity early Sunday morning

A scheduled five-hour power interruption affected sections of Cabuyao, Laguna early Sunday morning. According to electric distribution firm Manila Electric Company, or Meralco, the power interruption was to start at 12:01 a.m., and would last until 5 a.m. Meralco explained that the interruption was because it would be installing a new transmission pole along the Calamba-Cabuyao National Highway in Cabuyao. Areas without electricy included:

• a portion of Calamba-Cabuyao National Highway from near Mamatid Road to and including Birmingham Village
• Cabuyao Central Subd.,
• Mahogany Village,
• Gran Seville Subd.,
• Bermuda Country Subd.,
• Tamis Compound,
• Fortezza Subd.,
• New Mahogany Village,
• San Isidro Homes,
• St. Isidore Village,
• Lakeside Nest Subd.,
• Asla Homes,
• Southville Basco Subd.,
• Southville Depante Subd.,
• Camella Bermuda Subd.,
• Felicias Village,
• Centennial Homes Subd.,
• Mahogany Promenade Subd.,
• Canaan Homes,
• Centennial Townhomes,
• Multi Land Subd. IV,
• Vanessa Homes,
• Ram Food Products and James Hardie Phils. in Bgys. Banlic, Pulo, San Isidro, Banay Banay, Marinig and Niugan.
