2 dead in bus accident in Cebu

Two people were reported killed following a bus accident in Cebu province.

 

Sketchy initial details indicated the accident occurred in Badian town in Cebu, radio dzBB's Jasmin Vailoces reported.

 

The report said the bus flipped over but did not give further details.

 

Earlier Monday, a bus fell off the Skyway in southern Metro Manila. More than 22 were killed.

 

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board has suspended the entire 78-unit fleet of Don Mariano Transport Corp., whose bus was involved in the Skyway accident.

 

Investigators are still determining the circumstances in the Skyway accident. — RSJ, GMA News
