Police nab triple murder suspect in Zambales

The Philippine National Police on Wednesday arrested a murder suspect in Zambales who had been tagged as the "most wanted person" in Alaminos City in Pangasinan.

The murder suspect identified as Aaron Mandongayan allegedly killed three youths, including a teenager, in Alaminos City in the same province some two years ago.

The police operatives nabbed the murder suspect in his current residence at Brgy. Burgos in San Antonio, Zambales around 2:30 am Wednesday, a police statement released on Thursday said.

The suspect had been in hiding since 2012 after the shooting. 

Mangsongayan has a pending warrant of arrest for two cases of murder and one case of homicide over the Alamino City Regional Trial Court.

Two more cases for murder have been filed against the suspect in Alaminos City police station.

Mangsongayan is currently under the custody of the Zambales Criminal Investigation and Detection Team. — Rouchelle R. Dinglasan/BM, GMA News
