New world record for longest barbecue grill set in Pangasinan 

The Philippines has set another world record – this time for the longest barbecue grill – in Pangasinan province, a radio report said Saturday.

Bombo Radyo reported the simultaneous grilling of fish to mark the Malangsi "Fish-tival" in Bayambang town reached 8.016 km.

The "fish-tival" highlighted activities marking the town's 400th anniversary, the report said.

According to the report, Guinness World Records adjudicator Seydi Subasi announced the new record.

It added some 60,000 fish were grilled at the event.

The report said the previous record for the longest barbecue grill was 6.16 km in Turkey. — Joel Locsin /LBG, GMA News
