Cop killed in motorcycle-truck collision in Laoag –report

A policeman was killed after a motorcycle he was riding collided with a truck delivering cattle and pigs in Laoag City in Ilocos Norte, a radio report said early Wednesday.

The accident occurred at the road at Barangay Nangalisan in Laoag City, Bombo Radyo reported.

Killed was PO1 Muriel Cordova, who was rushed to the Laoag City General Hospital but who succumbed to his injuries.

Investigation showed Cordova was thrown off his motorcycle due to the impact.

Truck driver Esteban Asuncion was not injured.
