Heavy rain causes landslides in Misamis Oriental

Heavy rain since Friday night caused floods and landslides in parts of Misamis Oriental province.

In Tagoloan, the Tagoloan River's current was strong following the rain, GMA Northern Mindanao's Jeik Compo tweeted.

Compo also posted on Twitter a photo showing residents taking risks to gather wood carried by the current.

In Balingasag town, at least one house was washed out due to the rain.

A landslide occurred in Upper Jasaan town.
