PDRRMC: Bulacan’s Ipo Dam opens 1 gate as water reaches spilling level

Ipo Dam in Bulacan on Friday opened one of its gates after the water level there reached spilling level Friday morning.

The Bulacan Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said Radial Gate B was opened for 30 cm as of 10:30 a.m.

A Dam Spill Update as of 10:30 a.m. posted on the Bulacan PDRRMC's Facebook page indicated Ipo's water elevation at the time was 101.2 meters.

The PDRRMC, in a separate Facebook post, said it was to open one gate for 30 cm.

It noted Ipo Dam's spilling level is at 101 meters.  — Joel Locsin /LBG, GMA News
