1 killed, 3 hurt as jeep loaded with timber overturns in Rizal

At least one person was killed while three were injured after a jeep loaded with timber went out of control and crashed in Taytay, Rizal Thursday night.

The accident occurred at Barangay Dolores in Taytay town, according to a photo tweeted by GMA News' Victoria Tulad.

In the photo, lumber was scattered at the scene after the jeep turned upside down.

A report on "Saksi" said the fatality was the jeep's helper, while the driver and two others were rushed to a hospital for treatment.

Initial investigation showed the jeep's brakes failed, prompting the driver to swerve right, but the jeep turned upside down.
