Robbers take P10k in 2-minute robbery of courier branch in Cebu

Police are tracking down at least two men who pulled off a robbery at a courier firm's branch office in Cebu City on Thursday.

The men made off with P10,000, needing just two minutes to pull off the robbery at the branch office at Escario Street in Cebu City, GMA Cebu reported.

Customer associates in the company showed two men entered the establishment at about 10 a.m. and claimed to be customers.

But they then showed the customer associates their handguns and asked them where the money was.

"Pinakita lang niya yong baril at tinanong saan ang pera namin. Sabi ko, andoon po. Agad din siyang tumalon doon upang kunin ‘yong pera," said customer associate Lea Mariquit.

The robbers then fled aboard a motorcycle.
