Malolos City suspends search for river mishap victims caught in flash flood

Search operations for two students who figured in a river mishap in Bulacan Tuesday were suspended Tuesday night due to zero visibility, the Malolos City government said.

 

On its Twitter account, the city government said the search was temporarily suspended as of 10:16 p.m.

 

The city's rescue squad was conducting its search and rescue operations at Sitio Madlum in Barangay Sibul in the town of San Miguel.

 

Malolos City Mayor Christian Natividad said their initial findings showed nine people were aboard the banca crossing Madlum Cave when a flash flood occurred.
