Walang Pasok: Classes suspended in Cavite

Classes for Thursday are suspended in Cavite province, Governor Juanito Victor "Jonvic" Remulla announced.

On his Twitter account, Remulla indicated the suspension applied to all levels in the entire province.

"Good morning! Classes are suspended today in ALL LEVELS, August 28, 2014 in the whole province of Cavite. Please be safe everyone," he said.

Remulla had also suspended classes in the province earlier this week due to the threat of floods due to heavy rain from a low-pressure area. The LPA has since exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

But on Thursday, PAGASA said a new LPA may bring rain to parts of Luzon, including Calabarzon (Region 4-A) where Cavite is located. — Joel Locsin /LBG, GMA News
