Teachers traumatized in Pangasinan school shooting undergo debriefing

Teachers and personnel of a high school in Pangasinan where a policeman went on a deadly shooting spree last Monday returned to the campus Thursday for a psychosocial debriefing.

Regular classes at the Pangasinan National High School are expected to resume next Monday, GMA News' Hadji Rieta reported on "Unang Balita."

Education Secretary Armin Luistro addressed teachers and personnel of the school during the debriefing arranged by the school division.

Also organizing the debriefing was the Pangasinan provincial health office.

Last Monday, four people were killed while three were wounded after PO3 Domino Alipio went on a shooting spree in the school.

Investigation showed Alipio was trying to collect debts from some 39 school personnel before he went on his rampage.

Alipio was charged Wednesday with four counts of murder and three counts of frustrated murder. He also faces administrative sanctions that may lead to his dismissal. — Joel Locsin/RSJ, GMA News
