1 killed in Rizal flash flood

At least one person was reported killed in a flash flood in Rizal province Friday, amid continuous heavy rain brought by Tropical Storm Mario (Fung-Wong).

The flash flood occurred in Barangay San Jose in Rodriguez (Montalban) town, radio dzBB's Manny Vargas reported.

An update posted on GMA News' Twitter account described the fatality as a 68-year-old woman.

Earlier on Friday, dzBB's Sam Nielsen reported a girl was killed in the wake of floods in Bagong Silangan in Quezon City.
