19-year-old girl abducted in Naga City, brought to Batangas
Authorities in Bicol are tracking down a group of men who abducted a 19-year-old girl in Naga City last Sunday and allegedly brought her to Batangas province.
But the girl managed to escape and seek help from local residents and police before getting home, GMA Bicol's Avril Daja reported.
The girl said she was walking to a catering company where she worked, when men aboard a white van approached her and asked her to go with them.
"Sabi ko hindi po pwede. Tapos palayo na po ako nang bigla na lang hinawakan yung kamay ko tapos hinila ako pasakay sa van," she said.
The girl said that when she tried to resist and get out of the van, one of the men punched her.
She said she lost consciousness. When she came to oneself, she found she had been brought to a wooded area.
But she said she was not sexually molested. "Hindi po, nakaupo lang tapos inakbayan ako," she said.
The girl found an opportunity to escape and reached a residential area where she sought help. She was accompanied to a police station where she learned she was in Batangas.
After Batangas police learned of the girl's plight, they coordinated with their counterparts in Naga City.
The girl managed to finally get home on Wednesday night.
However, her parents want justice over what happened.
"Kasuhan sana sila. Panagutan nila yung ginawa nila. Makulong sana sila. At sana makarekober ang anak ko sa trauma.," said her father. — Joel Locsin /LBG, GMA News
