Baby dolphin born in Subic theme park

A bottle-nose dolphin was born at a theme park in Subic late last August, but did not make her debut until one month later.

 

The baby dolphin was shown to the public this week, nearly a month after her birth last August 31, according to a report on Unang Balita on Tuesday.

 

She did not make her public appearance earlier because her first month is deemed critical.

 

Last year, the first dolphin born in the theme park died shortly after birth due to complications.

 

The public is being asked to suggest a name for the dolphin, with the winning entry to be announced on Oct. 4.
