Vintage bomb found in Cebu

Residents in Naga City in Cebu province were startled Tuesday afternoon after they unearthed a world War II vintage bomb while working on a drainage project.

 

The bomb was unearthed at the edge of a street in Barangay Tinaan, GMA Cebu's Jun Veliganio reported Wednesday.

 

Police sent a Special Weapons and Tactics team to the site, and it handled the bomb after determining there is still a chance it could explode.

 

Meanwhile, police are not discounting the possibility other bombs could still be buried in the area.
