6-year-old shot by 10-year-old cousin in Negros Occidental

A six-year-old boy is now in a hospital after being accidentally shot in the head by his 10-year-old cousin in Cadiz City in Negros Occidental, a television report said Saturday.

The boy sustained a gunshot wound in the head, according to a report on GMA News TV's "Balitanghali."



Police are still determining the owner of the improvised shotgun used in the incident.

An initial investigation showed the 10-year-old mistook the shotgun for a toy.
