Coast Guard: 13K stranded due to Seniang

More than 13,000 people have been stranded in various ports due to bad weather from Tropical Storm Seniang (Jangmi), the Philippine Coast Guard said Monday.

As of noon Monday, the Coast Guard said 13,473 passengers, 120 vessels, nine motor bancas and 552 rolling cargos were stranded:

Eastern Visayas: 1,148 passengers, 14 vessels, 125 rolling cargos
Bicol: 67 passengers, one vessel, two rolling cargos
Northern Mindanao: 3,103 passengers, 24 vessels, two motor bancas, 268 rolling cargos
Western Visayas: 1,417 passengers, 30 vessels, 62 rolling cargos
Central Visayas: 7,738 passengers, 51 vessels, seven motor bancas, 95 rolling cargos. — Joel Locsin/BM, GMA News
