Seniang damages bridge, brings shoulder-level floods to Cebu
Tropical Storm Seniang (Jangmi) broke a bridge and brought shoulder-level floods to Cebu province, where it made its third landfall.
Photos posted online by the Cebu provincial government showed a bridge at Barangay Dumlog in Sibonga town "severely damaged."
In the photos, people were seen on the bridge with one of its sections appearing to have been broken off.
Another photo showed a bus having difficulty crossing a flooded area in Barangay Ilaya in Dumanjug town.
On the other hand, floods reached shoulder level in Barangay Ilaya in Ronda town in Cebu.
Iloilo pier
Meanwhile, in Iloilo, at least 100 passengers were stranded at the Iloilo Pier and Port of Dumangas due to bad weather Tuesday morning, RGMA Iloilo's Melanie Ferrer reported on dzBB radio. —Joel Locsin/KG, GMA News
