Fire hits call center in Iloilo

A fire of undetermined origin razed a call center in Iloilo City Tuesday, with firefighters suspecing an overheating water dispenser as the cause.

 

No one was initially reported injured in the fire at Jalandoni Street in the city proper, GMA Iloilo's Rudjemar Sucaldito reported Wednesday.

 

"(M)ay nakita kaming dispenser na posibleng pinagmulan ng sunog. Marahil nawalan ng tubig yung dispenser," said Iloilo City fire marshal Inspector Jesus Balusing.

 

The call center was at the third floor of the Jesena Building.
