Fire razes 120 houses in Cebu

A fire of still undetermined origin destroyed at least 120 houses in Cebu City before dawn Tuesday. QTV-11 television reported that no one was reported injured in the 30-minute fire, but some P2.5 million in property went up in smoke. Fire marshal Superintendent Esmael Codilla said they are now looking into the cause of the fire. Only last March, 40 structures were razed while four persons were injured in Barangay Tinago in Cebu City last March 2. Some 80 families were displaced and are temporarily housed at the barangay hall, multi-purpose building and day care center in that fire. -GMANews.TV
