Lawmaker's grandson, 4 others arrested in Cavite drug raid

A grandson of Cavite Rep. Elpidio Barzaga Jr. was arrested in an anti-drug operation in Cavite province on Friday night.

 

The suspect, 39, was with four other people when arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation in Dasmariñas City, radio dzBB’s Cecilia Villarosa reported.

 

NBI anti-Illegal drugs unit head Eric Isidoro said the five were arrested inside the Barzaga Compound by NBI agents serving a search warrant.
